"My favorite part of the Sky Railway transformation was the history making I was able to bring by way of the spray can. Graffiti culture and the railroad have been in conflict since days of the hobos and their monikers gracing the box cars of the long gone era. It was an undertaking in cultivating and creating an alliance between railroad and graffiti culture. There were many discussions to make this consist come to life as a heavy-metal rolling art work. The theme of the worlds first whole painted consist tells the story of styles in a cloud chamber format inspired by the Style Writing pioneers. The skies in the work gives a nod to network science, the global network of Style Writing, and the American railroad system. The engines 07Wolf and 93Dragon are depicted breaking through the cloud chamber with graffiti force fields to represent this massive breakthrough on the rails."
